FAQ

Are your products gluten-free?

Although we take great care in preventing cross-contamination, SpotOn Bouillon is currently produced in a facility that also produces products containing gluten.

Where do you get your ingredients from?

We do our best to source our ingredients from small farms right here in the Willamette Valley in Oregon! Sometimes our hyper-local farms don't have enough bones for us, in which case we look to farms a little further away. We try to keep our sourcing to the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.

Why is your product so expensive?

The first ingredient in our bouillon is dehydrated bone broth powder (not the vegan, obviously). Which means that the majority of our product is made from real bone broth. We make it in-house and to get it from raw bones to dehydrated bone broth powder, it takes about 10 days. That's a heck of a lot of bones (which aren't cheap anymore!) and electricity. Folks may not realize the costs involved in keeping a commercial kitchen running or the value in making a product from scratch on a small-scale. We didn't go into this business to make money. We make SpotOn Bouillon because we love the product, and we think you'll love it too! Our prices reflect the time, energy, and quality ingredients that go into making every ounce of bouillon.
